Creating bespoke tableware for one of Caraiba’s distinguished restaurant clients has been a wonderful journey, from the first creative ideas to the final pieces on the table. A process of exploring shapes, colours, typography and subtle details, always with the ambition to create something distinctive, yet timeless.
Designing for fine dining is about finding the right balance between aesthetics and functionality. The plate should have its own identity, while allowing the food and the chef’s creativity to take centre stage. Every element has a purpose, and sometimes the simplest details make the strongest impression.
Seeing these pieces in their natural setting, beautifully presented and in the hands of talented chefs, is perhaps the most satisfying part of the entire process.
