A Dialogue Between Place, Craft, and Table

For Castelfalfi, a place where history, landscape, and quiet luxury meet, I designed a collection of bespoke plates created specifically for its refined dining experience.

Surrounded by rolling hills, warm light, and centuries of heritage, the design approach was rooted in respect for the environment. The delicate pattern draws inspiration from classic Italian ornamentation, reinterpreted in a soft, understated way to echo the elegance of the interiors and the natural tones of the Tuscan landscape. Nothing feels excessive- every detail is intentional, balanced, and calm.

The plates are designed to enhance, not compete. A subtle frame that elevates the food, allowing each dish to stand out while still feeling part of a larger, cohesive visual identity. From material to pattern to color, everything is aligned with the atmosphere of Castelfalfi – timeless, refined, and deeply connected to its surroundings.

A project where design becomes part of the experience, quietly supporting the beauty of the place and the moments created around the table.
